Empowering Tomorrow's Neuroscientists

Team NeuroSpark is a youth-led initiative empowering students to learn, compete, and give back through neuroscience and community service.

Hands-On Learning at Its Best

Teacher, Redmond High School

The program offers students an incredible opportunity to engage with neuroscience in a practical, fun way. Their dedication to both education and community impact is inspiring.

Inspiring Young Minds

Team NeuroSpark goes beyond competitions—they build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. Seeing my child excited to learn and give back to the community was truly heartwarming.

A Life-Changing Experience

Middle School Student, 8th Grade

Participating in Team NeuroSpark’s Brain Challenge made me realize how exciting neuroscience can be! I learned so much about the brain and even helped raise funds for Alzheimer’s research. I can’t wait for next year!

Our most important rule is simple: everyone is welcome. This isn't about being the most intelligent person in the room. It's about being curious and wanting to learn. If that's you, pull up a chair. We're committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to participate in science.

Our Story

What Sets Us Apart

Founder Photo.jpg

Science is cool. Using it to help our community is even cooler.

Hey, I'm Navneeth, the founder of Team NeuroSpark.

It all started with the Brain Bee. I was deeply immersed in studying for nationals—learning all this incredible information about how our brains work. Competing at that level was amazing, but I felt like something was missing. I was gaining all this knowledge, but what was I doing with it?

For me, it got personal. My science project on Alzheimer's won a national award, but the most significant thing I learned wasn't for the judges; it was seeing how much the disease affects our own community. Suddenly, just competing wasn't enough. I wanted to find a way for students like us to make a real, local difference.

So, I started Team NeuroSpark with a simple idea: Science + Service = Impact. We're a team of students who are passionate about the brain, and we decided to build something that wasn't just another competition. We wanted to make a community that learns together and gives back together.
